Islington SAGE activities

Local Project Management

In February 2004 Islington established a SAGE working group, this included the Council’s European Officer as well as the Coordinator for the 55+ strategy in the borough as well as administrative and financial staff. The boroughs 55+ strategy is based on a wide partnership which includes the local authority, the public health authority, the police and several NGO’s. It is intended to use the experiences, knowledge and activities generated by the SAGE project to inform and improve the future work program of the local 55+ partnership.
